I don't accept what we're being presented with.
A majority of the players havent cared since the 2010 team fell apart half way through the season.
you can't be serious with posts like this. Everyone is pi$$ed and frustruation is More than understandable...but come on man, the players care. Honestly I dont know the fix, but have to believe we will get better.
Technically, it's darkest around 2:00 a.m.
How very droll, Young Man.
Is that why the "hands team" ran away from the second onside kick as if the football was radioactive? Because they're pi$$ed??
Hokay, Walker, whatevs you say brah.
Wasn't more than half the hands team on the other side of the field? How did they run away from the play? And didn't more than half of the hands team on the onside side of the field do what they were supposed to and take out a couple of CMU players. Onsides rarely work because it normally takes a freakish bounce to get it; that would be football. However, MUCH less often the onside works because a player simply blows his assignment. That was the case in this game. And the coaching staff didn't do theirs in having the players prepared. Is that why the "hands team" ran away from the second onside kick as if the football was radioactive? Because they're pi$$ed??

It was a crapshow on the onside, cant argue with that. I just have a hard time believing the players were coached to do that, don't you? I think that was player error.

The Hawk coaching staff was outcoached most of the game. They were outcoached on the onside, too.
There's no need to be sophomoric.
The facts are evidence enough that not only do the players need to do their jobs, but the coaches need to do theirs as well.
That doesn't really surprise me.???
Watch the reply of the 2nd onside kick a few times, and then get back to me.
I don't get the "sophomoric" crack.
That doesn't really surprise me.
I don't have to watch it a few more times to know that more than half on the hands team was on the side of the field that CMU didn't kick the ball. That's why they didn't. Ya'know, brah, kick it to dat side of da field. So, no, those players did not 'not care.'
And there were players on the weak side of the hands team that did their job. So, no, those players did not 'not care.' There was one, maybe two players that blew their assignments. You want to say those players blew it? Go for it. I agree. You want to say the coaches blew their responsibilities for not having players in the game that know and do their jobs in an onside kick situation? Do it. That's what I'm saying to.
But if you're saying that the players don't care or are scared then keep that crap to yourself. It's petty and sophomoric.
Scorpio stole about $10K of my v cash. By the way, I actually think you two agree. But forget about me, and carry on.
The coaching staff is solely responsible for ensuring that their players are properly coached for each & every situation. The coaching staff is paid to ensure that their players are prepared, and that the players on the field at any given time are the best they can be at their position and duties.
Do you think the Iowa coaching staff is fulfilling these objectives?
I don't.
