This Punt May Go Down As The Most Embarrassing Play Of The Week

I thought we had some Australian kid walk on a couple years ago that was supposed to kick the ball 80 yards. What happened to him?

I can honestly say that was the first time I've ever seen a punter down his own punt. It made me sad.

He was trying to pooch/direct the punt, to boom it 50 0r 60 yards into the end zone does absolutely no good. UNI's punt returner had no chance for a return. If the punt would have bounced forward, like most punts do 95% of the time, it could have been a good to great punt depending how many yards it traveled. The announcers and most of you know nothing.

Yeah but it didnt so that makes it a bad punt. Thanks for a look inside your brilliant football mind.

that'd be johnny mullings, who is still on the squad
evidently, he has a very slow "wind-up" after the ball is snapped to him; takes him way too long to punt
or at least that's what I recall hearing coming out of spring

Mullings is SLOW, he'll not punt for Iowa ever

Kornbrath's average isn't pretty mostly due to the wind at the ISU game. and a 11 yard punt doesn't help either
