In theory you are correct. But do you actually believe it?

I think we should be better next year but not enough to overcome the talent gap. Not IMO. It's too big. 234 starts is an incredible number of starts. That's 3X as many starts as Purdue had coming into this season. And they have 1 SR (Kline) and they have 3 - 4* FR on the bench this season with 3 more coming next season. As long as Fran is coaching/recruiting, we'll never overcome that kind of talent gap.

I don't care what KenPom says. Wait to see how many teams from each conference are left in the Sweet 16.

Yup. This year they did what they should’ve done last year. Sucking to lower the bar doesn’t change much.
