This may surprise some people

(Sigh). Again...not what this thread is regarding.

I agree with you burky. As a pure entertainment event, last nite was one of the best of the Lick era. Sadly,it came in a loss, but at least there was some verve to the offense, and even a little up and down action...that fast break pass to Eric May from cully was one of the only breakaways of the year...again,sad,but a fun play, nevertheless.

It is a baby step toward what Iowa bb in CHA should be...fun and winning.

Wow reading these post...didn't feel as bad...have a better feeling....WOW. Home game at Carver and we are happy we didn't get blown out...or great moral victory. It just pains me to hear this banter.

Where do you feel the pain? You should probably get that checked out.

We were not exactly playing the Kentucky Wildcats out there.

Was good to have a chance to win.

But, that is not happening every game out.

And definitely isn't happening against some teams that it should.

Michigan is a team we should beat every time on the court. Sims and Harris are talented, but the rest of the team is nothing to write home about.

And to lose to them at home, with 2999 fans watching, is pretty darn embarassing.

I'm not sure we should beat Michigan every time out on the floor. I think I would take Harris and Sims over any 2 players we have on the floor. Yes Fuller and Gatens had nice games but if it came down to it I still give Harris and Sims the edge.

I know that after that Cully to May fast break, me and the season ticket holder next to me(who is probably pushing 80) both started jumping up and down screaming "OH MY GOD! A FAST BREAK! A FAST BREAK!"

Maybe that's why my mood was as good as it was. Here I was jumping around like a school girl with an 80 year old man because I got to see a fast break. Yes, it's sad that something that simple will be able to alter my mood in any sense. But all I could do was smile.

Once when I was a kid, I ate one of those big chocolate cones, then barfed it all up in/on one of the drinking fountains on the concourse.

If it pains you, then why do you read it? This loss is not on coach. Make your free throws and you win the game. Pretty simple.
