Will the team be any good? Well, I'd say there's a better than average chance that the team finishes either 7-5/8-4, and most will feel like they should have been at least 9-3 or 10-2 when the season's over.
That's pretty much my official pre-season prediction that I can trot out on an annual basis with a pretty reasonable amount confidence, because that's almost always where we end up.

I would take 9-3 and be happy with that. Leading into 2020 with high expectations. If I had to put money on it I would say a typical 7-5 season which is all Kirk has to do to satisfy the Iowa fans.
