This is why Iowa never gets the respect when we are good, because when the hawks have a great run and we get people to jump on the wagon (i.e. Kirk Herbstreet, when he said Iowa was a top 5 team before the season started) And with the talent coming back, a senior heavy team, and we took a dive like the stock market of 2009. I can not put in to words the dissappointment that I have for this Iowa team. I will not place blame or belittle my Iowa Hawkeyes. But I will say this IF Iowa wants to get to the next level, they need to perform when expectations are high and beat the teams we are suppose to beat. Fine we lost to a very good Wisc,tOSU, teams. I can even understand the Arizona loss but my gosh NW and Minny, wow. I will never again complain about Iowa not getting its respect they deserve but thats iowa football for the last what 30 years. I thank all the seniors for your commitment to Iowa Football and wish you all well in your future endeavours. Now Lets go hawks 2011 I cant wait for a season with no expectations and maybe a better than average season.
