This is the Bubble

So do you think ISU can loose 4 in a row (KSU, Mizzou, Baylor and KSU in BTT) and easily make the tourney? They would be 20-12, 2-8 vs. the RPI top 50.
 
I think Iowa just needs to get to 20 wins. Win out the regular season and win 2 in the tourney. I don't think this will happen, but it's definitely possible.

Agreed, but if that hapens they will have a minimum of 5 wins vs. the RPI top 50 and a possible 8-10!

ISU could really help themselves by winning one of the last 3, for sure. If they lose the last 3, then they would certainly find themselves on the bubble and may be in trouble because the committee really looks at the last 10 games. I'd really like to see them win 2 games in the tourney to help build momentum going into the big tourney. They really control their own destiny right now.
 
They have to make it first. Actually brackets are a total guess outside of the first round, 1, 2, 15 and 16 seeds.

Again you prove your lack of knowledge. The NCAA is no longer suppose to consider "last 10"

JEFF HATHAWAY: I think that at one point, criteria was the last 10 games. My first year on the committee, that was changed to the last 12 games. My next year on the committee, that was eliminated all together, because I think frankly, looking at X number of games is not the point. I think the point is, maybe looking at trends and looking at each and every game, not just the last 12.So those kind of things have taken place. Obviously we have expanded to 68 teams. Obviously we have had added the First Four. We learn each and every year, we review the process of selection each and every year; and certainly try to advance this each and every year.

I admit, I don't read every article that comes out. But it still matters, just apparently not as much as it used to.

Btw, Jerry Palm isn't exactly reliable. I think that is the first time he's even had ISU in the tourney whereas most everyone else has had them in for quite some time.

Reliable enough for you to check to see if he has ISU in. Since you know it's the first time he's had them in.

It's been nine years since the last time the committee took such a team, but of course, the season isn't over yet. They have never taken a team with just three top 100 wins and none in the top 50, but that's Washington at the moment. The field is bigger now. They have to take somebody." ---Palm

He also projects how the team will end the year not just where they are now.

Nope. I don't get all caught-up in what people say because it's basically just opinion. I read threads like the one on CF that talk about that stuff.

ISU does have a top 50 win, btw.

Why exactly would I care about anyone else? We're talking about ISU and I stated that ISU does indeed have a win over a top 50 team. You're just hating to hate. Per the usual, I suppose.

Where does anyone say that ISU doesn't have a top 50 win? The end of the quote was talking about Washington. I thought it would be funny if I included it to watch you jump all over it, proving you can't read, which would then give me a slight chuckle. Well worth the 5 second copy and paste.
