A very good showing by the Kansas fans but we all know why they are there in droves.

Because their football team sucks and nobody cares about their game Saturday.

Our fan base was split between going to Nebraska or this. Plus we have a bowl game to plan for. People only get so many vacation days.

Your excuse is weak at best, since our fan base gets either 4000 or 8000 tickets for the football game in Lincoln and Husker Fan was not going to sell their tickets to Hawkeye Nation.

As far as a bowl game, KU also has to plan on going to the Sweet 16 and Final Four every year.

i guess it is just hard for some people to give credit where credit is due.
