This is getting so much more ****ed up...

This guy for sure has something on the University. These guys that allowed Sandusky to come and go at university facilities as he pleased? continuing his work at the 2nd Mile without telling anyone? knowing what they have known about him for YEARS? Are you kidding me...These are men of high intelligence, they did not get to their elevated positions within the university by being ignorant or stupid. [even a DA disappearing since 2005]? I think when the dust settles it will deal with a cover-up of epic proportions involving big time MONEY! If they are not already, I'm sure the FBI will be getting involved.

This whole story is just starting and will be rolling around and affecting PSU for many, many years. How it was delayed this long to come out is amazing.

This could be even uglier than I originally thought. But I just don't believe these guys went to such extremes to just cover a pedophile because he was a "good" guy or good coach in the past. There has to be more explanation for their actions, and lack there of.

While I believe money was involved, and there is a major cover-up involved, my mind certainly didn't go in this direction. If these new rumors have any legs to them, this could potentially be....I can't even fathom the horrendous analogies.. just would be utterly sickening.

I agree this could get a lot more ugly. In addition to everything involving the university and Sandusky/Paterno/Spanier, et al., it would not surprise me to learn there is a whole other scandal involving the charity, some of which may tie in to the sexual abuse of the children and PSU. Where was the foundation's money coming from? How much of a crossover between its donors and contributors to the Penn State athletics department (or other PSU foundations)? What was it being used for? Who was accountable for it? Did they submit the necessary audits and annual reports? Who were the Second Mile clients? Was there a continuing association with them as they reached college age? Was Second Mile money used to try to buy victims' silence?

The Pennsylvania Attorney General, the state's taxation and revenue department, the FBI and the IRS could be among the agencies wanting to take a look.
