Think the question could also be asked

With everything that is being reported and the fact that Barta didn't even mention his name in the release Thursday Night.

Would Lickliter even want to come back and Coach at University of Iowa?

I'm not a lawyer but could he actually be in a position to sue the University?

I don't know anything about the legality of the thing, but I do know Lickliter very much still wants to be the coach at the University of Iowa.

Of course he does, he is getting paid NOT to do anything but turn Iowa into the laughing stock of college b-ball and getting a ton of money to do it.

I am not a lawyer.. but here are my thoughts. I am thinking that as long as the contract is honored as written or there is an agreement in place between the two parties, there is nothing a lawyer can do.

Now, I do believe that if Lick was able to find out who started any kind of rumor... such as KCJJ, he could probably file lawsuit against them if this leads to his eventual firing. Reporting something that is false that leads to the defamation of the coach is slander.

just my two cents.. I am not a lawyer and I am just going by what I see in my textbook about contract law.
