They should just fire Riley at halftime

Not much else can describe it ...

You think Riley will want to not collect what is due him on his contract?

Ohio St is doing the hawks a favor to bury the blackshirts. Can Nebby come back like they did a few years ago?

They decided not too. All I know is that kNU will keep Riley as long as it takes to get Frost. And I think Frost will turn them around. So...note to Brian Ferentz. Upgrade the offensive philosophy to be more aggressive, to actually try to score points (sarcasm for those whose filters aren't working), lock down skill players from areas we compete against kNU in and establish your offense now. Cuz if you wait until Frost gets to Lincorn, it'll be too late.

No. I don't think they'll come back. The over/under was 6 before the season which probably means Vegas thought they'd actually win 4 or 5. Also, I think Riley's going to wait to get fired but it's got to be an almost untenable situation. I feel bad for him. He used to be a pretty good coach about 10 years ago but I think he's past his prime for the Nebraska job.

I would like Nebby to be 4-7 heading into Black Friday against Iowa and Riley fired the week before.

Not playing for the next HC.
Not playing for the current HC.
Not playing for a .500 record.
Not playing for anything other than maybe a crappy bowl.
Not really even playing for pride with so many only knowing the beat downs the last two seasons.

Nebraska has given up 36 1st downs, most in school history, and it isn't even in the 4th quarter yet.

They never should have fired Pelini. He would have had them in the mix. The rumors I am hearing from friends in Lincoln is Mike Stoops. Just as big of a tool as Pelini.
