Theo Epstein, Bill Walsh and Kirk Ferentz

If there is one thing I really have learned to enjoy while being a Cubs fan it is that no matter how the Cubs do during the season the cards fans will always be butthurt.

LOL, butthurt? Coming off of a World Series title and a run to the NLCS? It's funny listening to Cubs fans act like they are relevant.

While I agree completely with the quote from the original post, Saban is a different animal all together. He's basically a highly skilled mercenary, available to the highest bidder. He'd turn on Alabama for Auburn without a second's hesitation if they offered him more money than he is currently making.

And how many of us would "turn" on our current employer if a competator came in and offered us a 20% or more salary increase to go work for them?

Very good point. Still think it was a pretty shady move to leave MSU right before their bowl game on his way to LSU. Telling his staff & team he's staying in Miami then taking the Alabama job roughly 48 hours later was a bit strange as well.

Then again if you start waving several million dollars in front of me, there's not telling who I might step over or what bridges I would burn to get that cash. I'd like to think I show some loyalty and respect but I've never been in that situation so probably shouldn't throw stones.
