The Wisconsin Holders

How in the hell do they get away with that. Meier was held on the big third down pass play that kept that drive alive...3rd and 11. You have to go back and watch that...Meier is turned sideways trying to move toward Stave and the tackle has both arms around him. It's freaking crazy and the ref just keeps it in his pocket. I get the hands inside, but these guys wrap up. I watched the Nebraska Wisky game and it was the same thing.

Damn...KF should have been going crazy on that third down, instead he's chewing gum with his thumb in his butt as always.

This game is being called terribly, Duzey and Powell are getting interfered with or held on just about every play too. These refs are garbage. And that offensive PI, what a bogus call that was, Duzey was the one being held on that play. A defensive PI could have been called on 2 bad-gers for that play.

KF will not get worked up either way he gets paid. Hold, no hold. Win, lose whatever. Welcome to the accepted mediocrity, also known as apathy. We should be throwing the kitchen sink at these guys but well that's football.

How was that not a fumble? You could see that the whistle had not made it to the refs mouth before the ball started to come loose. That play should have been challenged.

No surprise Hawk fan going to Official card, one of the lamest things I see on this site from some. Give me a break!! Cry me a river.

We are getting beat because they have better players and better coaches. It's ridiculous to even mention the refs.

Nate Meier had bad-ger #78 beat on that last 3rd down play. That's a bunch of garbage that they let him get away with that hold on that play. Iowa would have probably had got the ball back with a chance for a game winning FG, and with the way they were moving it they would have had a good chance. Just because Meier is to fast for those fat bad-ger linemen is no excuse for them to hold.

Well in a two point close game like this when wisky was holding a lot, and I mean I saw their linemen put an arm across our rushers chest numbers a lot, a lot, then it can be the differnece in the game.

Yeah, the hawks got a couple calls too but it is tough on these hawk Dlinemen to be held constantly.

They are talented holders. They hold, then use a quick release to avoid penalties. With their 1.5 second hold/quick release technique, that really helps the QB and RBs.

All Teams do it folks.. Did you happen to see Smith's PI call. :) Okay now Let just get over it..

On critical plays, you have to call that hold on Meier...it was obvious. Smith got away with one too...but if you look at what's going on...the fumble on the sideline that wasn't called and not replayed and several questionable holding calls, I'd say Wisky's getting the better end of it. They are very aggressive in their oline hand position.

The fumble wasn't called or reviewed because his forward progress was stopped.

No but I could see the ref right in the shot with the live action, and on the review. The play should have been challenged by the coaches. If they did they would have had possession.

Also I on that play I was off the couch screaming because of the call. So I jumped off the couch, then ball started to come loose, then the ref started to reach for his whistle. Specifically in that order.
