I hate to say this with it being Wisky week but I think this is a must win game for the hawks. Another loss and they will be behind the tiebreaker with both Purdue and Wisky. The West Div is going to beat up on each other these next weeks, just like the East, but if Wisky wins today they could win out, with MInny and Nebby being their two toughest remaining games.
On BTN Tailgate it was just mentioned that the leading rushing team in the Iowa-Wisky games have won 18 of the last 20 games. But I think the hawks can win this game playing a more efficient offensive game without turnovers, many penalties, good running to set up some nice play action passes. An Iowa win basically gives them a 2 1/2 game lead on the badgers which is how huge this is, a loss and the hawks are 1/2 game back basically.
But Iowa can use some help just in case and Purdue is the main team that needs to keep losing as they have the tiebreaker over the hawks. Minny losing to the wildcats would be great.
