The seniors lost this team.....

OSU is also a senior-laden team. They seem to have taken the opposite approach and are being rewarded for it. It was disheartening to see their sideline during the Iowa game whooping it up and full of energy and then see our sideline either unwilling or, more likely, unable to.
 
Its actually quite sad. This senior class had a chance to build a legacy and earn enough cache to be considered legends in the state. Now, its just the opposite. They will be remembered for having no heart.
 
To be frank, none of you jackasses know what goes on within the program. You point to "good leadership" when the final record is better than expected, and "bad leadership" when the record is worse than expected.

Exactly. Leadership can be the difference between a good record and a not so good record. It doesn't seem like that the intent of your post, but it still is true. I don't need to be an insider in the program to know that is true in any endeavor, be it sports, business or even the simplest volunteer organization.

I saw a team yesterday that was playing out the string. Some individual efforts were made, but the team was done.
