yep we are a terrible bunch of crybabies because we expect the Hawks to be relevant with what is happening in this century, you pegged all of us, good job, you win, you are right we should just be happy that we get to watch the almighty coaching staff at Iowa work their magic...get a f-ing clue, if you want to be mediocre-go be a CLOWN fan, they have plenty of openings on their bandwagon

No what you do not understand is many in our fanbase know the difference from W-L's and 'QUALITY OF PLAY'.
Our 'quality of play' really sucks. We can never get all three phases playing well in the same game and we cannot play 4 quarters of football. Our offense is a perreneal disappointment.
Keep in mind KF was an offense coordinator in the NFL and has deep roots in offensive line play. Yet our offensive lines are SO DISAPPOINTING. When can we ever lean on this unit to grind out tough yards and dominate an opponent? We are especially soft on this side of the ball. This was an experienced offensive line yet we had 50 yards of offense in our first 5 possessions of the second half. Good lines take control of the LOS. Nebraska was not even that good as in years past on the defensive line.
So go ahead and burry your head in the sand wishing for some kind of miracle.
