The string of missed FTs with about five minutes left had me nervous, but Iowa answered every little Nebby run. The technical and JBo FTs put the game away.

Watched the game on delay because of work, but what a gut check game. A lot like Iowa woman beating Rutgers. The low win teams are always dangerous in the Big because they are desperate for a win. Nebby played some physical D and made some tough shots. Iowa had no answer for that lighting quick pg. Good to see Perkins show what he can do. If this is his coming out party Iowa is gonna be a tough out, that and Conner hitting his shot. JBo was dropping dimes on his passes. If this team beats NW and can split the final two, Fran should be coach of the year. Its nice to see other players stepping up when teams are focusing on Keegan.

The football team would be ecstatic with 7 wins. Really did the parents let him get into the crayons again, looks like he ate them too.

Keegan had an off night. Others stepped up and secured the W. Seems like we’ve seen the Hawks lose a lot of games like this where it’s just not our night and the opponent seems to want it more than us. So hats off to the Hawkeyes for winning a game that could have gone differently.

A month ago at 4-6, the goal was to go 10-10 in conference. Now 10-7.
These Hawks have shown tougher D, better rebounding and they play for each other, no matter who is playing or playing well.
Great job coaches and players!!!

Gard and Pikiell seem to be getting all the love for coach of the year.

Iowa doesn’t play well and still wins by double digits on the road. This team is pretty good.
