The next 4 games will be the determining factor in how the KF Era ends

Even beyond the determining factor for the KF Era, I really think these next 4 weeks will go a long ways towards determining how the Iowa program unfolds over the next several years in this newly constructed B1G.

I'm extremely interested and excited to see how it plays out!

I tell ya one thing. A performance like that completely eliminates any possibility of a split locker room or a players against coaches mentality.

Maybe a bit melodramatic but I get your point on the next couple years, for sure.

They can turn out 2-2 but as long as it's a coherent scheme, competent strategy and competitive effort, for consecutive games, it will begin to restore some confidence.

There are still other issues that plague his era but just give me watchable football, put the best guys in the best position to succeed, and always attack with the intent to score (not just protect a lead and play field position) and I can live thru the next 6 years.

Let's not get a head of ourselves here.......

Completely disagree with the OP.

We have still yet to play a team with a pulse all season, and won't until the last 2 games.

The last 2 games might end up having some kind of significance, but it's way too early to say that at this point. Get back to me when we're actually playing for something of significance at Kinnick on the final day of the season.

Until that actually happens, we're still mired in the same mediocre malaise of crap that we have been since the Orange Bowl.

Na, not really. Now it's about salvaging a season where we should've been undefeated heading into Wisconsin. We haven't beat a single FBS team this year with a winning record. Now if we finish it 4-0 that will be quite a feather in KFs cap. But you can't really erase the feeling of being out of the playoffs after game 3.

I think it you could be right

I don't know about the "determining factor thing"...but the team is right where KF wanted them heading into the upcoming games. You control your championship destiny for your conference. The two losses are somewhat mind boggling, but something happened last week and I need to see it happen one more week in Minneapolis to get too excited.

Beat Minnesota handily and with solid football and I'm saying there's a chance, and more of a chance than Lloyd had in Dumb and Dumber.

Iowa has two must wins. If you go into the Wisconsin game at 8-1...Iowa fans will be 2010 level loud (that Wisconsin game was deafening) with a whole lotta anger pent up for what happened in 2010.

Better yet, why don't you just leave the board until then??
