Good work out the thread killers. Too bad the mods do not read their rules and eliminate repetitive negative posts. I guess johnny boy is just happy to have anyone here anymore.

I dunno, Jon hasn't exactly been Mr Sunshine himself - I think that's the state of the fan base right now, and for good reason.

I would much rather let the negativity flow than to see Jon ban everyone but HawkNick and other like minded posters. Then you could jump on the board and enjoy exclamation marks being the only form of punctuation! And hearing about how great everything is! And how we are going to win out! Every recruit is a future all american! Every other program sucks! We would have won but for the refs! Etc! Sick of it yet?

Everyone talks like the coaches aren't trying to recruit talent. That is such B.S.! We have missed on lots of high rated recruits. There is only so much you can do. First some are attainable because unlike some other conferences/schools kids to have to meet academic standards to get in. Second people are talking down kids coming from Iowa as not being quality recruits because they don't have enough stars. Iowa kids are rarely rated as 4 and 5 star recruits and because of that Iowa doesn't get ranked high as a team for recruiting. When was the last time we had a top ten recruiting class? I'm guessing never.
