The Murray Foundation

The Athletic Performance Center described on the home page seems pretty awesome. I can see athlets from all over eastern Iowa using this facility.

Does Kenyon Murray like mountain biking? I keep waiting for our version of the Waltons to invest big in mtb infrastructure around the IC area, ala Bentonville!

Kenyon’s podcast show up in my YouTube algorithm, but I haven’t had a chance to listen/watch.

Saw Keegan didn't have all that great of a yr. Kings regressed big time especially since they traded off Fox and fired their coach. Keegan has 1 more yr on his rookie contract I hope he can get out of Sacramento soon. That place is a dumpster fire again. It looked like during Keegans rookie yr they could turn it around and do some things. But not now...

Good thing Keegan got that big rookie contract.

Kris didn't play all that much in Portland this year. Just a few minutes a game and his stats were usually pretty low. I'd guess he's headed to the G League or overseas when his rookie contract is done.

Not throwing shade at Keegan because he will play a longtime in the NBA, and make over 200 million dollars in his career. That being said, I am not sure what his value is. The ceiling being that he is the 3rd best player on a playoff team. As I stated when he was drafted…he will play 15 years or so, for about 5 or 6 different teams.

Kris on the other hand, probably needs to figure out how passionate he is about basketball, and how long he wants to pursue it.

Yeah Keegan after his first 2 yrs looked like he could really develop into something but he's either plateaued already or I don't know what. Woulda been nice to have seen him be a star in the league but it looks more like he'll be more kinda like what Harrison Barnes is. Not really a centerpiece for a team but a valuable guy. And like you said he's gonna be making big big bucks for the next 10 plus yrs however long he wants to be doing it. If he doesn't get hurt he's gonna be stupid rich he kinda already is.

Kris and Garza are kinda just hanging on it seems like. They get to live the lifestyle and all but I bet they aren't having a ton of fun if they'd be honest about it. Garza barely ever gets to play. Once Kris's rookie contract is up I wonder what he'll do next cause he hasn't played so hot to be honest... Heck I wonder if he'll make the team next yr even.

Been gone a long time. Where did this thought come from? I always thought that his dad was the reason he developed the way he did.

Always can use a Fry perspective! My understanding of Luka's dad was that at one time he was a financial advisor, maybe in the Bay area, and lost a bunch of money for his clients. My understanding also was that he paid it all back. Other than that, I'm not sure of the details. Let the peacock fly........

Luka needs to get out of Minnestoa. Being backup to Rudy Gobert is not conducive to minutes He needs to go somewhere that needs 5s.

Kris has been given the opportunities in Portland, he started for a time, got plenty of minutes but his game just hasn't grown into a productive NBA game.

Thanks Z! I haven't kept up on Luka for a while now.

Did 30 months in federal prison for fraud and money laundering. His “Conscious Selling” program that he offers online is a total scam too. Google it. I have a friend who’s a Hawk fan and got curious, started conversing with him about it and it’s a total ridiculous money grab. The partner he shows on his website is a real person but nothing to do with Garza’s snake oil. Just lists a partner because I’m sure no one would take Frank’s word for anything.

Frank’s a degenerate and I’m sure he’s probably managing Luka’s money, aka stealing it.

Wow

I wonder how much of Luka’s money has gone to paying Frank’s restitution.

Frank’s well-known in Iowa City as a scheister by insiders. He comes across as Themis big successful guy but didn’t have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of before his kid made the big time. He’s kind of a hang-around guy to the rich folks and likes it to come across that he’s Mr. Big. One of his buddies is the guy from Minnesota who does Hawkeye Elvis (VERY wealthy real estate lawyer in the Twin Cities area). If fake news was a thing, Frank is it.

The only thing Frankie is selling is snake oil.

Anyone who operates in the business world know these “mentoring” and “coaching” consultant whackos are there for one thing only and that’s to take your money. Didn’t work for you and your sales didn’t increase? You must’ve been doing it wrong…that’ll be $10,000, please, per the contract you signed for my services. Get a load of his 2-day Boot Camp, LOLOLOLOL

I was literally thinking about Keegan within the past week, and how he hasn't built off the foundation of his solid rookie season, and how a fourth overall pick at the end of his third year should be approaching alpha dog status. He hasn't devolved into Patrick Williams, another fourth overall pick who's stealing money with Chicago, but he goes into year four with a lot to prove if wants to truly get rich in this league. I was calling for the Bulls to acquire him last year when DeRozan and Levine were rumored to be on the block, because he would have fit in with a team trying to get younger. Now who knows what's in store for him next year.

Luka scores 2 points with 1 board in 3 minutes of play in a blowout win over the Lakers in Game 1 of the playoffs.

Let the Peacock fly.........

I could see Luka working out at this Performance Center.
