The most unrecognized win of the year

The coverage was all about Nebraska, before, during and after the game. It was about nebraska, nebraska's injuries, Bo, Bo's temper, Bo's remarks, Bo's future.

Did they do a segment on the game on the BTN Final Drive? I missed it if they did.

Nobody seems to realize that we kicked their buts on the scoreboard and on the field. Whoever we play in a bowl will, no doubt, have low regard for this team....we'll sneak up on them a club 'em like they were little white seals

No and ESPNs Jessie Palmer even seemed dismissive that Debbie should be losing to the likes of Iowa and Northwestern. But hey that's ok, we play better with a chip on our shoulder anyway.

The biggest tool in college football...how he retains his job, I only have 1 thought, and it's not pleasant.

I noticed that to they acted like Nebraska was winning the gm. And as for Jesse Palmer he's just mad that his Gators suck. GO HAWKS!

Hawks won it from the opening kickoff. If they had a better offense the score would have been 50-17. Nebraska may be all beat up but everyone has an excuse why they lose. They weren't that good a team at the beginning of the year either. They replaced their defensive line. If Martinez would have been there...Waaa

The comment below came from ESPN's Big Ten Blog.

"3. You can't kill the Hawkeyes:
Just when it seems safe to write off the Iowa Hawkeyes and Kirk Ferentz, the Big Ten's longest-tenured coach, they rise again."

I want you to think about those first five words, "you can't kill the Hawkeyes". It as if they want it to happen. They want teams and coaches to fail so they have stories. Take Friday, it wasn't that Iowa won, it was how a Nebraska coach reacted to questions after the game and his behavior along the sidelines. A story about someones personal behavior failure.

During the whole broadcast, they were defending Nebraska, by talking about injuries all of the time.
Not until there were about 4 minutes left in the game, did the announcers starting praising Iowa's game performance.

Thankfully, we have the BTN. The 4-letter-network will never speak highly of the Big Ten.
The 4-letter-network is spending all of their energy campaigning to get an SEC-team in the BCS title game.
The 4-letter-network was loving Urb all of the time, when he was at Florida, but now they hate Urb and his Buckeyes.
It's like the media loving John McCain, until he decided to run for POTUS. Then, the media hated him.

The story lines do not surprise me, Nebbie is still a big name in college football. Remember it is how they got into the conference in the first place. It certainly was not because of their academics or basketball.

I was just listening to Jon's podcast. Even the gosh darn host of hawkeye nation spends the first 20 minutes talking about Nebraska. Ridiculous.

It says in the podcast description that is what he was going to talk about. It was a Big Ten podcast so he is going to talk about IMPORTANT issues in B1G. Bo from Nebby would be one of them...

That's reading WAY too much into it. If anything, Rittenberg has always seemed to harbor something of a soft spot for Iowa, IMO.

Ok, you want to get pedantic, I'll get pedantic.

The title of the podcast is Hawkeye Nation. The title of this episode is Iowa, B1G Things, & More. The description says "Miller & Deace talk about Iowa-Nebraska, Bo Pelini's future, Iowa's most likely bowl destinations and so much more".

I would think they'd start the show analyzing the Hawkeyes *** whipping of the Huskers. Instead, they talk Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska.

Was Iowa even mentioned at halftime? I've never seen only the losing coach interviewed at half

I guess ABC figured more people would rather see Nebraska lose than Iowa win. Just business.

Sheesh. Apparently it's true that no matter what happens there will always be people that find something to beech about.
