The MOST disappointing...

Is Terrelle Pryor the most disappointing player to play NCAA football in recent memory, or possibly ever. As much hype as he had coming out of high school, I'm wondering if he should have given basketball a shot. Wasn't he the Lebron James of football?

The only disappointment is his off the field decisions. He took over as the starter as a true freshman and had a pretty good career. Won the B10 championship every year.

When it comes to on the field, 31-4 as a starter is hard to argue with.

True, but he was suppose to be dominate. He won games and all QBs are measured on that, but his personal numbers were not all that great. He was never going to win heisman and every year people questioned his ability as a QB.

As more details come out it sounds like thee classic example of all the accolades and praise going to his head and destroying his integrity to the point where he saw himself above the team and game.

He was a great "player". He is a very disappointing teammate and student-athlete.

Dude, people in the media might have questioned his ability as a QB, but somewhere around 118 out of the 119 D1 football teams would have taken him as thier starter in a heart beat. And he did dominate, at least as far as the WL record goes.

He was 10th in the country in passer rating as a junior. There are a few thousand more disappointing players than Pryor.

I'm pretty sure a record of 31-4 doesn't really fall into the "most disappointing player ever" category. hate what he's become and what he was all about off the field, but pretty sure he definitely wasn't what I'd consider a disappointment in terms of football ability and talent.

From a professional standpoint, maybe, but I'm pretty sure Nebraska fans will tell you otherwise based on what he did while he was there.

I would say Willie Guy or Jermelle Lewis would be two hawks that were a bigger disappointments on the field and I can't stand T Pryor or tOSU, but lets not get too carried away here. He was pretty good.

The team record you guys keep citing is going to drop quite a few numbers from the win column. I'm sure all the wins from 2010 will be vacated. Possibly all wins in his entire career if they can find evidence going back to 2008.
