The level of stubborness by KF is astounding...

...especially coming off a year where it looked like he had finally "seen the light" and was willing to go against his tendencies. Announcing CJB over JR in January, more Raider pkgs/blitzing, going for it more on 4th down, fake field goals, going for "magic points" (points in the last 2 minutes of each half) and not sitting on the ball, etc.

But now it looks like that was all a smoke-screen to get the new 10 year deal and we're right back to the same shitty stubbornness and decision-making that made years like 2014 a complete disaster.

And now that stubbornness is even leaking over into the recruiting arena. I GUARANTEE you that if this class was last year's class and KF needed guys like Eno and Chevin in order to get that contract, he would have told him to take all the visits they wanted to and then hope like heck that they came. Now, with his lifetime contract signed, he can go back to doing things the way he REALLY wants....which is to be such a control freak that it drives recruits and current players away and it's back to the "play not to lose" mentality.

I'm not sure I can take another 10 years of this.

We should have upped our recruiting efforts when we learned they were taking visits, not withdrawn the offers. Recruiting is a very difficult and fluid process. It's not easy. When people use terms like "mad" and "ticked off" to describe our coaches attitude towards a high profile recruit, it's embarrassing. I really don't care if the recruit took a visit or not. We are vastly underachieving in recruiting so policies like these that are not attractive to high profile recruits need to be rethought. Let's be honest, high profile recruits are the only recruits this policy relates to and it's not helping.
