The Legacy of Larry Bird

I didn't like Bird when he played, because I was a Dr J Sixers fan in the early to late 80's til BJ was drafted by the Bulls. But I have come to appreciate what he was as I have gotten older. A great player.

I finally got around to watching the Dream Team documentary this past week and it was one of the best things I have ever watched. Gonna read the book

How about the Broadway play? :)

The current great players in the NBA would fit nicely into the Christian Laetner portion of the Dream Team. Eleven hall of famers went to Barcelona and completely destroyed the world this will never again occur in history what an epic event. USA #1. If isiah thomas wasn't such a cocky jerk he could have been added to that list but instead the guy was and always will be an outkast looking in.

What you expect from a hick from Indiana? Grow corn? I watched him played in ncaa finals against Michigan State from the hospital. Really he gave me positive attitude to get going thru life .

I really love watching basketball!
