Illinois fans did a good job with the color scheme. I agree it works better in low light or darkness.

I think it will become a trend that we see off and on over the next few years. Some color schemes will look great striped, and some will struggle. Illinois looked okay, but I agree that it will work better at night.

but there were a ton of buckeye fans there, so that could have made it look so iffy. that, and it definitely looks better under the lights.

Someone mentioned A&M has striped their decks horizontally in the past as well.

they did some cool things - eveery week was different, once they are three stripe colors (blue, orange, and white), then they would do, upper bowl orange and lower bowl blue.

They are the first that I have seen that did anything different than all one color.

Would have been cool to see Hawaii when they were the rainbows to make an entire rainbow -
