As much as I want to see the Hawks win, the older I get, the more I appreciate a coach who has values that transcend superficial football. It makes it sweeter when we win. I think the Hawks will do well this year.

I'm guessing Iowa will be a 7 to 10 point favorite in this one. If i was a betting man, I'd take NIU and the points.

I think our suspended players will come in fired up against ISU. We've shown up a bit lethargic in the past coming into this game. ISU is no gimme this year, like most years. It would be nice to see these linemen take out their frustrations on the Ronald McDonald crew.
