The Ghost Of Fat Pitzgerald Haunts The Mildcats Game Thread

When was the last time we had a legit dual threat QB it’s been a while.

I don’t think we have one at Iowa right now.

Good win and the Wisconsin game next week is going to be a tough one to pull out.

I think Banks qualifies even though he struggled against USC. Still he was a Heisman runner up.
The bowl game that year could have been ours

Hawkeye receiver in the end zone dropped a pass just before halftime

And Bob Sanders was taken out of the game early in the third quarter

Try poking me in the eye again, Punks

Sounding more like cade came out due to getting dinged up. Pretty sure his helmet was taken & Ferentz was uncommital in next week’s starter so here we go….

The NW game did not change my mind that Kirk should retire. Here's a reason I don't think he grasps. His brain is 70+ years old. It doesn't process info as fast as it once did. He may believe it does, but it takes more time to reach a decision.

“Well both guys played well when given the chance. The offensive line wore down the defense by the time Sullivan got in the game so he wasn’t seeing the pressure Cade had. We’ll see how practice this week goes. Cade is an experienced very veteran quarterback that I expect to rebound well from adversity.”
Is this one of Cade’s relatives? What lalaland are you in?

I'm with ya on that. Appears not to do much in game play calling. More so let's the other coaches run the show.

I'm 53 and work in IT. I'm keenly aware of the diminishing of processing every day.
