The Colts are Starting Over (Dallas Clark Cut)

My bad, what was I thinking he isn't Colin Franklin not even Hammerschmidt.

You posted video game footage to support your Dallas Clark is still a big play TE argument. Dropping out of HS definitely didn't put you on the fast track idiot.

That is a good come back, I see that ISU education has served you well. And yes, Shannon Sharpe and Tony Gonzalez were productive well into their thirties. DC can still do a lot of this.

See, this must be a generational thing. I don't understand changing from one team to another for any reason. You root for the team you grew up with through thick and thin... otherwise you deserve the tag "bandwagon". Somebody that is over the age of 40 help explain this to me?!

I'm not that old, but I would never change my favorite team no matter where Iowa players went (or anyone for that matter). I have liked the Chiefs since I was old enough to know what football was, and it won't ever change. I root for teams to do well for other reasons, but that's the beside the point ($$).

Yes, well back you the "old days" players tended to stick with one team for their career, now the best player in the league arguably gets cut from the team that drafted him  Its very hard to stay loyal to a team when your best players are at risk of being cut.

I am 6 months past my 40th birthday. I was a dolphins fan growing up. In college I lost interest in the NFL in general. I really just followed the Hawks that were in the NFL. I really liked Warner and the Rams but swore them off when they got rid of Warner. Then it was the Colts. Love Tony Dungy and the fact they had Sanders and Clark didn't hurt. I am still a bandwagoner I suppose when it comes to the NFL, but I will never waver in my support of the Hawkeyes!

This - follow the Iowa boys like UNI's Warner, or any former UI player.

I like consistently following the Skins, Steelers, and Vikings....but will always turn the channel if I see former Hawks on the tube.

I am not finding anything on Dallas Clark now that he has been released. Is he done playing football? You would think there would be some interest!
