is for Texas and either Bama or Fla to meet in the Championship game. Iowa must then garner a trip to the Rose Bowl (frankly I'm indifferent as to whether we go undefeated or not) and play Oregon, IMHO and many others, the best team in the country. If Oregon is excluded from the Nat Champ Game it will cause a lot hoopla. The typical finger pointing will occur and it will be primary topic of discussion through December. The Ducks will feel cheated and won't bring their A game to Pasdena. (ala Texas a couple of years ago) And guess who will be the underdog...... I love the whole scenario...I'll take KF as a dog any day!!!!

Sorry, but I disagree completely. The best thing that could happen would be for the team to just keep winning. I'd absolutely love to see them go undefeated! Anything to do with a championship scenario is out of their control, and left in the hands of people with agendas.

There are no guarantees for next year whatsoever. All that matters is this season, right now. We're already in uncharted territory. Let's enjoy it and save thoughts about next year for after this one's over.

I think I am speaking for a vast majority of Iowa fans that say the very best thing would be for Iowa to win all their games.

Also, any one loss team that feels slighted going to a BSC (non NC) game, when there are potentially 2 to 4 undefeated BSC Confrence teams ahead of them is kidding themselves. Oregon may very well be the best team in the country right now but at the end of the day their resume (at best) will consist of a 2 score loss to Boise State, a great win over 2 or 3 loss USC (they still have Az) at home and probably a win vs Az. Their only B10 competition was a 2 pt home victory over 3 win Purdue.

I don't see Bama and Fl playing in the SEC champ game as a lock. I see LSU and Fl playing for it more probable, and to me the best thing for Iowa would be to win out and LSU take it to Florida in the last week leaving TX, Cincy and Ia the only unbeatens and a bunch of one loss teams trying to make their case as to why they are not only the best one loss team in the country but why they are more deserving than the 3 undefeated teams.
