The best passing QB tonight

21-30 (70%) for 252 with 3tds and 0 ints seems damn good to me.
Numbers are OK but Stanley doesn’t have the fundamentals like Gabbert. Gabbert had perfect touch on the bubble screen, Stanley not. Stanley can’t throw with accuracy downfield; Gabbert was deadly. Gabbert has much more zip and accuracy getting the ball to the receiver.

That said, I will credit Nate for some big scrambles to keep drives alive.

If Gabbert stays healthy and improves each year, there’ll be no comparison by the time he’s a senior.

He threw 2 (edit, 4 but Smith couldn't get inbounds on one and Tracy lost track of the other) beautiful fades and hit ISM on the numbers on a busted-play scramble. He was fine.

It's great, but some people are unhappy unless he has a 100% completion rate with 7 TDs.

Really he only had one bad throw tonight when Smith beat his man badly and Nate threw it too far and to the outside when the route was clearly inside and he got Smith turned around.

He had a couple nice throws downfield that WRs need to make plays on.

And credit to the Miami DBs. They held a couple times and took 15 yard PIs instead of getting beat for 50 yard bombs. That's just being smart.

The bubble screen to ISM for the last TD was perfect. His touch on the tds to Smith and Martin were huge touch passes. He looked loads better tonight than he has in the past 2 years.

If you watch the fade to Smith again, the safety was coming hard, so it had to be to the outside. Smith should have recognized and adjusted route to the outside...

Didnt we have a big gain on a screen?
