With the Hawkeyes down time until Midlands checkout the Battle of Waterloo wrestling tournament coming up this weekend. A 32 team, two day dual tournament. It looks absolutely loaded. The brackets are set up similar to the Clash with 4 pools on Friday and round robin for each place on Saturday.

If you are unable to make the tournament, Real-Rivals (Live Events) will have a someone there giving updates on dual scores and featured match results.

God Dewald killed waterloo wrestling when he resigned at west.

This is the worst Waterloo West and Cedar Falls have ever been, both are absolute garbage. In fact their isn't a really good wrestler in all of Cedar Falls and Waterloo. The surrounding areas have gotten really good though.

Thanks Kirk, I wasn't planning on doing anything on Friday at work anyways!

Im not going to be there this weekend but my partner will be there giving updates on the dual meet scores, she will be doing alot of video during the live matches but will give highlights of each round on the live blog.

I will be at Pleasantville on saturday covering the Pride of Iowa Conference Tournament, 9 returning state place winners, should be some good finals matches!

One more thing if any of you follow CIML wrestling or just want to see updates from wrestling, I will be live tomorrow night from Ft. Dodge to cover the #4 SE Polk Rams vs #13 Ft. Dodge. The link posted above will take you to the page that lists the upcoming live events. (The Ft Dodge meet will not appear on the page until tomm.)

SE Polk was not at this tournament and Jack is at 125 and wont cut to 119, West has #3 Kegan Wakefield at 119 also so no need. Cory has never lost to Jack in folkstyle iirc.
