The arrogance that is Nebraska football under Frost

Was watching a local sports show in E. Iowa tonight called On Iowa Live. The host Scott Saville from channel 9 was at the game last Thursday covering it. He said that when the game had ended and the Iowa players were walking off the field, Saville said that a Nebraska player (he didn't say who the Husker player was) but he walked up to the Iowa players and yelled "next year that trophy is ours."
 
I saw that too. Golston was carrying it above his head singlehandedly like a beast and some scrawny Nebby dude (I bet it was Dismuke) comes up to him and starts to talk shit.

Talk about a lack of self-awareness to shit-talk a team that's beat you 5 times in a row while they carry the trophy off your field.
 
But they don't understand all this trophy non sense.
The Hawks are just another nobody team on the schedule to a hundred national championships in a row.

Dispuke was talking shit the whole game. Throat slashing crap. Taunting. Should have been flagged but we know how that went.
 
Nebraska fans and players are some of the most entitled in all of sports. Like some jerk-water place in the middle of freaking nowhere is destined to win trophies in big-boy football. The days of Devaney and St. Tom are never coming back. Another win over UNL or DONU as some call it over there is one thing that makes the winter all the more pleasant.

I think we need to have the video of the NE tight end flopping after Epenesa tapped his shoulder on a continuous loop during the pregame next year. Include Matt Millen's commentary also, and maybe a string of tweets. They should be embarrassed as hell at that crap!

What bugged me about that play is I get guys sometimes make mistakes but do it at 100%. Epenesa jumped, big deal, at least fire across the line and drill that guy. Maybe next time they try a hard count etc they think a little about getting hit. The tap on the shoulder was weak, you need to hit him so hard he pees alttle

Nebraska will defeat Iowa eventually, but let's hope the streak continues.

Nebraska's real problem is that they are not even in the upper tier of the West Division right now. Next year's schedule for them is brutal. It will be interesting if Frost goes 5-7 next year, which he could easily do. His last 5 are Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. It will be difficult to get one win out of that grouping.

And that Columnist Stephen M Sipple about a month ago saying to the effect that history owed Nebraska, and that they were entitled to get some breaks pretty soon.

You have imbeciles like that serving the kool aid and of course the inbreds are going to drink up!
