the 100% completely unofficial "favorite QB" thread

so, right now who's your favorite QB. Keep in mind this has no bearing on what you've actually seen out of them talent wise, it's more of a "just cuz" thing.

Me, I'm going with Sokol because his last name is kinda like "Skoal" which is awesomely redneck. Nobody else's last name kinda sounds like a brand of chewin' tobaccey

rudock signing really excited me at the time and i've always wanted to see what he can do. he looked very polished coming out of high school. the fact the hasn't won it outright kind of concerns me now though.

but if i had to pick one i'd say rudock

Of all the qbs I like Beathards upside in the long run. I thought his feet, running ability and agility looked really good, I hope his passing improves to have that tall rangy qb who can take off and run.

I dont know enough of them, so I'm goin with the skoal tobaccey reason too.
Although, IIRC, Ruddock's high school numbers were video game-esque.
But then again, doesn't Beathard have the beautifully long flowing golden locks?
Ermuhgawd... I'm so confused.

I dont really have a favorite so Ill go with Sobeatock. Unless Wiesman wants to take snap because he looks like somebody you dont say no to.

Actually, Sokol's Juco stats were more impressive than Rudock's HS stats. In 2011, Sokol averaged 346 yds per game (43 TDs and 3807 passing yards, 2nd in country both). Rudock averaged 188.5 yds per game in HS according to the site I was looking at.

Beathard looked the most shaky and like he would need another year. Sokol and Rudock looked about the same but Rudock looked to have a better handle on the offense. Sokol looked more mobile though. I will go with Rudock just because he has been here the longest and that's what KF does.

Sokol, because "Sokol" can mean "Hawk" in Russian.

Kirk will do what he does after every fall camp and name the starting quarterback by holding a vote of all the players.

The first qb I see "throw" for multiple td's in a game will be my favorite. Seemed to be a rare occasion last year. Since it's looking like Rudock will get the initial nod, I'll be hyping him like he's Chuck Long in my mind and if and when he throws for multiple td's I'll probably put his poster on my bedroom ceiling....#thirstyforkoolaid

HS football in Florida is better than JuCo football anywhere.

Just sayin...

This doesn't sway my vote.

Don't know about HS football in Florida being better than JuCo football.....The top Iowa HS football team wouldn't even make it past the first round playoff in Florida.
