But got er done so I'm happy for the players.
The coaches, eh......
ALL such comments need to be directed to the B1G commissioner, Mr. "New York is the best, even this time of year." NO REASON anyone should have to tolerate a bowl like this. We'd've been better having a "frozen tundra" bowl in Green Bay - at least you know what you're going to get there.Or we can stop having games on fields not made for football......It was blatenly clear that field was shit

But no doubt - somebody's idea of a BAD joke.

we're saying the same thingLambeaus field is heated.
Big difference huh?Lambeaus field is heated.
That's an important point. Those conditions definitely favor a power running game, versus a finesse running scheme.Iowa made the best out of a bad situation (embarrassingly bad field conditions). I’m not so sure this game would have been “ugly” in reasonable conditions. The frozen diamond benefitted BCs slogging RB and short throw passing game.
If the B1B/ACC and or the NCAA insist they want a Bowl game in NYC, please play said game in the $1B stadium across the way. NFL stadiums require heating coils for a reason. They play outdoor games at all venues in Dec and Jan! Guess what, they are on to something.
