That's the conclusion you draw if someone doesn't gamble? In that case, I'll assume you're a gambling addict based on your comment. I think people can have plenty of fun in their life without gambling and not everyone has the money to do it. If it comes down to keeping a roof over your head and putting food on the table, it's hard to fault them for not wanting to risk throwing money away. Maybe they'd rather take that 50 bucks or 100 bucks they could lose on nothing and have a guaranteed good time by going to the movies, out to dinner, buying a video game etc. Not trying to start an argument or anything but I just thought it was weird that you base the amount of fun someone has in their life on whether they gamble or not.

Anyways... happy new years. Hopefully you finished ahead. If so, you can put some of that money towards getting sloshed tonight. :)

You need to opt in to OT now

Click on My Cpanel then on the left side under the Networking header click on group memberships and it will pull up the page to opt in to the off topic board and/or the politics forum

Jon made it opt in because there were too many awesome shenanigans going on

If you bet on Iowa in this game, you deserved to lose. That's like playing Roulette and throwing it all on 23, because MJ was your idol. Gambling is supposed to be about odds, not emotion.

Even though it took a fluke play for OU to cover. Im sure all those who bet the Hawks appreciate your stern lecture
 
I parlayed them with the under. $20 to win $50-something. Thought I had it locked up - until they **** the bed. Ah well - made that money on ISU losing so it's all good.
