That off week before Michigan will be nice.

I know it's early and Michigan may not have played the toughest Defense's in the country, but there is no denying that Denard Robinson is doing some pretty spectacular things in RichRod's offense.

I for one am glad that our off week comes before the Michigan game more than any other, because it will be good for our coaches to have the extra time to prepare for this unique offense.

Won decent coin taking Michigan straight up last night even though it was close. Robinson is pretty stinkn good, maybe we can get Forcier to transfer here. haha

Actually Iowa hasn't fared particularly well after their bye week - see Illinois 2008.

The problem for preparing for Michigan is that you need someone to simulate that freak Robinson. Chaney might be able to give you a little look, but it is still a ways off.

Actually that's true throughout KF's career...but I think it's a pretty small sample.

But I think anytime you are facing a style that you won't otherwise see all year, it is nice to have extra time to prepare, as it is in this case.

Yet when we had time off to prepare for Ga.Tech's explosive option run attack last december,we could not contain them....oh wait, no, we shut them down.

I like having the off week to prepare for their unique style and Robinson, and to watch him get tackled very hard by all american middle lb Greg Jones of rival MSU that saturday. If Jones catches Robinson, he might break him into pieces. At the very least, the Wolves will be coming off a very emotionally-draining road game vs MSU...I can live with it.

Give Norm an extra week of prep and he will devise a plan to slow DRob down. Iowa's O is greater than Michigan's D. It looks like a recipe for a big win in the Big House to me.
