I dont think that there is more complaining or griping on this site than any of the other sites that cover the hawks and have fan interaction. I visit them all at least once a week, and in a year where there is disappointment, unicorn kisses aren't being handed out anywhere

No person is perfect, no board is perfect...but the passion for the Hawkeyes is certainly alive and well here, which is all I ever want to be associated with

Although I will say one thing: This board is full of unfair judgments, isn't it?

And for someone to say that 18-22 year olds should have a thick skin, that is just ridiculous. I think the players should be off limits. They are not getting paid to play, at least not yet.

Maybe in your mind- but to others it can be warranted. This is a message board, take it for what it is. This isn't me being cynical or whatever you want to insert here- it's me disagreeing with your opinion, nothing more.

Oh god, you must the type of parent that gets mad in the stands if another person says something bad about the team or your son. When you play D-1 football, you better be ready to take some criticism. Like i said the coaches will be alot harder on them then we are. You need to quit crying and acting like a baby just because some one said something bad about a player. They are not 12
