Never in my wildest mind did I ever think I'd be a women's hoops fan as I was one of those that never gave it a chance, because of the way it was played below the rim and what I blindly saw as a lack of athleticism. Bought in a few years ago, as nothing more then a spectator watching them win them win their first of not one...not two...but three straight and hopefully many more.
Now a few years later I find myself watching every game religiously, totally engaged, and more into women's college basketball then men's. To those that made it possible I thank you. To those super fans that have been promoting the sport for years, I thank you and humbly eat crow.
Bring on UCONN and hopefully one hell of a weekend to remember. GO HAWKS!!!!
