Texas will still be rank ahead of Iowa.....

one reason why they will NOT drop from the rankings is because they have been in the top 25 161 consecutive weeks. And out of pity, and partly pimping next weeks game against Oklahoma, to feature a top 25 match up, they will not. Calling it right now.

Brent Musburger just questioned himself during the Boise game if Texas would fall out of the top 10.

HAHA! There's your answer.

I was just about to post this. I couldn't believe it. "We'll have to wait and see if they drop entirely out of the top ten." Wow.

Mussberger is usually pretty good but this one made me scratch my head. What is he smoking today?

Kind of interesting how there haven't been many replays of highlights of that game, and the game wasn't televised even though it was scheduled to be shown.

The only think worse than that comment was Brad Edwards conference rating. Big 12 #2? Are you FREAKING kidding me? I really think in any order, Big 12 is 4th at best.

Those rankings were probably compiled before today's games. They would have been overrated anyway. But the Big 12 is WEAK. Texas can't defend a power running game (K-State upset?). Oklahoma has looked good against and overrated FSU team, and that's it. Nebraska has shown the past two weeks that they are beatable. Colorado, Kansas, Mizzou, ISU, and Baylor are all just bad. TT is solid. A&M, you never know which team is going to come out to play. Okie State and K-State are nothing special outside of Kendall Hunter and Daniel Thomas.

I wouldn't be surprised.

Texas loses big at HOME to a 1-2 PAC 10 team. Iowa loses close on the ROAD to a 3-0 #18 PAC 10 team and fell 9 spots. Texas SHOULD fall to at least #20 based on this logic. However, don't be shocked if we see Iowa stay put at #18 (or even move down one) and I believe Texas drops no further than to #15.

After all their name is still "TEXAS"

They're polls, we all know there is no logic.
