I watched the replay and he called TO in about 4 seconds, NOT 5. He even called for the TO. What a bull**** call and a crappy call by the refs to end a game like that.

Basketball referees aren't assigned to a conference the way football refs are; guys like Hightower and Valentine are independent contractors and can work as many games as they want.

You can't call TO after 4 seconds. I heard the announcers make this point but I wasn't aware there was an NCAA rule to that affect. If there is then it's the right call. I saw the refs arm count to 4 and then just as he was about ready to chop #5 the dude calls a TO and the ref immed. blew his whistle.

The play that won the game for Arizona was SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How in the hell does he get the ball off his hip and into the hoop?!?!? Wow.

The no-call was a bad play on Texas. Why they lolligagged up the court with the ball I have no idea. They deserved to lose.

The endings to these games are unreal!!!!!!! Iowa isn't even close to competing yet.
