without GD and with their new OC, they went 8-5 and the offense ended up 50th in 2011, this year thru 10 games they are 8-2 with games left against TCU and KSU, another 8-5 season could happen again. at least this year they could finish in the top 30 in total offense, this compared to GD having just one season outside the top 30 in 10 + seasons, and TX recruits much better than Iowa

no idea if these are accurate stats/number...but if they are it's an interesting point. No doubt that TX has and will always have better and deeper talent than Iowa - but it's still interesting....
