Texas + Big Ten is bad?

The B10 owes a huge thank you to Texas actually.

Their greed forced Nebraska to the B10. If it wasn't for them we would probably still be looking silly with 11 teams, odd-ball schedule, & no championship game.

Personally for Iowa, they may have created a cool rivalry to take the place of the Wisconsin rivalry that has basically been destroyed -- for the time being, assuming we get locked in with WIS when B10 goes to 9 game conference schedule.

At the same time, Texas isn't interested in sharing the wealth so no reason for them to be in a conference or have an loyality to any conference that would let them in.

If said team would beat Iowa more than 50% of the time then 'team' + Big 10 = Bad. That is the way I see it, and Texas fits that bill.

Nothing good comes from Texas. Except Lance Armstrong.

Texas is like a virus. Once they are absorbed into a conference, they infect it and destroy it.

Oh, btw...Texas is a living, breathing example of why greed is one of the seven deadly sins.

I'm sick of the expansion talk .... however, I don't understand why people are so against Texas to the B1G...

The argument of how they ruin conferences is a complete fallacy in this scenario. If Texas were invited to the B1G it would be based on the same conditions as everyone else....PERIOD.

Nothing that makes Texas bad for the B12 would be relevant if they were to join the B1G.

Please elaborate on this.
