Tevaun Smith Drops 6 On Saskatchewan

If this isn't a postseason game, it has to be getting close. Their Grey Cup is played Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend.

I’m honestly surprised they don’t play in the summer that far north.
They start in late June, maybe early July.

I remember the old Grey Cup highlights when Doug Flutie was playing up there and it seemed like there was a blizzard every year.

In addition to the weather, you have the Hockey factor. Canucks are starting to turn their attention to the ice.

Is what I was guessing. Can't wait!!! Although, I wouldn't mind if it waited until Christmas to freeze. Seems like I have the best luck when it freezes later.
I have a couple lakes near me that do really well at early ice, try seeking out smaller bodies of water if you run into slow fishing. One lake that I hit early has been a jackpot the previous couple years in the first week of December.

I always hit big lakes early when I can and they're usually good early, but have a few small ponds that are good from first ice to ice out. I'm not as brave (stupid?) as I used to be, but I remember having to throw my equipment over the open water around the shore to get out and fish near ice out. Can't wait!

My Vexilars and auger batteries are charged and waiting.

Geeezus, how large of an end-zone do they really need?
The field is bigger in all dimensions. 110 yds long, 65 yds wide, and 20 yard endzones. It's air-raid taken to the max since they have a huge field and only get 3 downs instead of 4. It's actually kind of fun to watch. No Antonio Browns to be found anywhere.

ESPN used to have the CFL on back in the day. Was interesting to watch. I forgot about having 3 downs.

The CFL was invented for Akrum Wadley. He'd have been the best player in the history of that league if he'd have given it a shot. Fast, elusive slot backs are what that game is built around.

When Drew Tate was playing for Calgary we went to a couple of his games there in July. I hadnt really thought about it but Drew was at the bar where the Houston Iowa Club meets for a BB game watch in February or March. Sitting around drinking a beer I mentioned we might come. He offered to get us player tickets but once I found out where the seats were from his mothers best friend I declined and bought them on Ticketmaster(lot cheaper than the NFL). Did some touring the day before the games. Was a good time. The first year we went we used FF miles. The second year we flew on Westjet when we saw RT tickets for 295 from Houston. Stayed in a DT hotel on the light rail. There is a stop across from the stadium. Beer was good.
