Terp offense that scored 28 on OSU and 30 on Penn St gets ....

a measly 7 points against the Iowa defense. The hawks came up with a bunch of stops and turnovers in the first half when Maryland had about 65 yards of offense. That is just great play.

Terps QB ran the ball better in the 2nd half and they had success with that pulling linemen sort of trap play for a few big runs.

But only giving up 7 points to a uptempo sort of offense that had been scoring some 4 tds a game against some other good defenses is amazingly good stuff for the hawks Dee. A lot of good assignment football, good technique and tackling for the most part

Need Meier to be ok.

Their coach is going to get their QB killed. Making him run the football like that is a recipe for playing the backup who then gets killed. they better find another way to move the football.

Would agree, but looks like only option for them right now.

well stated on Hawks defense

Penn St has been playing very good defense all year and they just shutout the Illini. Illinois offense is pretty good and shows how good the Maryland offense can be to score 30 on PSU.

Hawks are playing championship defense and the offense is above avg enough to win out.

I wound feel great about the D if they kept the intensity and held them under a hundred yards. Going forward, every team but Purdue will have a QB who can actually throw it. They will turn good field position into points.
