Tebow in your face

It's crazy. Fact is the guy just knows how to win. No matter how he finds a way. It's really is incredible.

There's that. And then there's the fact that Detroit and Oakland are the only two teams in this 4-1 run that have winning records. And Detroit kicked the sh*t out of Denver.

And Oakland is banged up and going nowhere fast!

Dont be fooled people. The only team with a pulse made him look like a fool and "Tebowed" right over him lol.

Super Duper... it's his 5th start.... He's winning in the NFL. I don't care who it is or how he's doing it. He's winning, he's 4-1 in his first year as a starter, and he's doing it in the NFL.

He'll become a decent passer. He'll force teams to play defense against an offense they'll rarely see. He'll bring the best out of his teammates, and he'll win playoff games. They might even make the playoffs this year.

ah, I believe the coaches made a major change to their offensive game package After that Detroit game, where he literally had no chance even before the first kickoff. they have since adapted a style more in tune with Tebows abilities.

Further, last time I checked, the other rookie/first/second year qb's are not exactly without faults and losses. In fact, last time I saw, the NFL mantra still is, On Any Given Sunday. Are you really going to use the weak schedule argument? He can only play and beat the teams they are matched up against. Are you seriously trying to tell the board that Denver would be 5-5 without Tebow? Longevity in the NFL? um, hows that working out for the handful of traditional drop back passers that are out with injury?

He may not have Denver in the playoffs yet, but guess what, they are now at least mentioned in same conversations. IICR, Elway didn't make it to his first SB for 4 years and not win it for 14 years (the first time).

Im not christening Tebow as the greatest qb ever, not even as a good qb yet. He is without a doubt though, a very good football player, and it appears, an even greater human being. AND he is winning games and allowing his team to develop. He has made them relevant for the rest of this year. Maybe they make playoffs maybe they don't, but at least us Denver fans have a reason to be excited on Sundays in December now. It didn't look that way a month ago. I don't remember the last time the whole country was talking about the Bears, Vikings, Chiefs, Rams and 15 or so other teams in the NFL that have zip to ignite their fan bases.

I think Stanzi is better than Tebow. How on earth does a starting quarterback complete 2 passes and win a game? Tebows little run of wins will end soon. Praying to God about the subject off football is not right.

Stanzi is a better pure passer than Tebow.

Pocket presence, speed, strength, running ability, ability to force opposing defenses to scheme for you and your offense, breaking tackle ability, decision making, clutch ability, leadership ability, work ethic, overal athletic ability, most likely personal and daily habits, marketability, popularity, experience winning, experience in big time atmospheres and situations..... all go to Tebow.

Stanzi is sitting on the bench behind Tyler Palko of all people. He would be third on the depth chart if Cassel wasn't injured. Meanwhile Tebow is 4-1 as a starter, replaced a seasoned veteran in Kyle Orton who has had 10 win seasons and has played in the playoffs.... and you're seriously going to say Stanzi is better than Tebow. What a joke.

Also playing awful teams in his "4-1 run" go to Tebow. A 2X4 with a helmet on could have played QB for Denver and won those games. Denver could win the AFC West with a under .500 record!!!! They should win the next 2 games they play and the Tebow train will be at full speed before it runs off the tracks when they run into 3 teams in a row with a winning record.

I said the exact same thing about Vick last year when people got all excited over him that ill say now... People seem to get hype, flash and excitement mixed up with being good.

So is this suposed to be some sort of argument (your argument) that Tebow isn't better than Stanzi in the following areas?

If you watched the game, he should have been 6 of 8 passing if it weren't for dropped passes. I'm not a big Tebow supporter but he is not that bad of a passer that the media makes him out to be.

Depends what the coaches put in for him. He's a first year (essentially) starter with only 8 games. I don't think they are letting him call his own plays yet. AND in that KC game, a) they didn't need to pass, and 2) there were catchable passes (save for one thrown in the ground for what arguably was good cause) not caught.

Pocket presence

I was not arguing that Stanzi was better I was pointing out that so far Tebow has been smoke and mirrors. I Stopped reading when you said Pocket presence though. Have you ever seen him play? Its pretty clear that you have some weird love for Tebow that nobody is going to "prove" to you otherwise. Tebow has almost ZERO pocket presence. He doesnt step up in the pocket to make throws and his form is awful.

The one good team he has played were laughing at him on the field and calling him a joke to football after the game.

He's good, not great. But man is he fun to watch and his energy level and intensity is unmatched. His teammates mobbing him in the endzone at the end of the game was awesome and showed how much they care and believe in him. Why do people hate him? Because he forced ESPN to cover his every move in college and he believes in God and doesnt do drugs or expolit women and is boring off the field? I would be more than happy if my son chose to be a fan of his and saw that he did things the right way, no better role model in professional sports. He has faults and he is working to correct those and the coaching staff in Denver instead of trying to fit him into a "West Coast" offense like everyone else is adapting to make themselves successful.

He's a leader and he motivates others. He's also a winner. Not my favorite guy or favorite QB, but he's a winner.

I don't know how successful he'll be, but he adds some interest to the game.

Denver won, in part, because the NYJ self destructed and Sanchez did not play well, IMHO.

Under 47% career is pretty bad and a reason why the media makes it out to be what it is.
