# 6 Houston plays at Cincinnati tonight - I expect HOU to win, but could be competitive game
# 7 Stanford plays USC on Saturday - I think STAN wins easily, but USC has a ton of athletes
#10 Louisville plays # 2 FSU on Saturday - I expect FSU to win
#12 MSU plays at # 18 Notre Dame on Saturday - I think Notre Dame takes care of Sparty at home

If Hawks take care of the Bison, good chance of being rated in the top 10 in the AP Poll next week.

Ohio State could easily lose.
Michigan may not have such an easy opponent.

The B1G needs Ohio St to win badly in terms of getting their champion to the CFP. Win or lose, OSU is the B1G favorite. Last thing the conference needs is its top program to lose to Oklahoma who lost to Houston. 2 teams with light schedules the rest of the way.

I expect that OSU will be Oklahoma, but you never know.

I think MSU will probably beat ND as well.

While I would love to see Louisville win, I suspect that FSU will crush them.

I think that USC might have a sluggers chance at Stanford, but Stanford certainly looks like the better team so far.

Rankings mean dick. Completely worthless unless you count irrelevant discussions as worth something.

The only way you could ever meaningfully compare the top teams in college football would be to have an 8 team playoff made up of the power 5 conference champs and 3 at large spots with pre-established criteria, not some journalists' pie-in-the-sky rankings (opinions).

On the flip side, if Iowa does not have a convincing win, there are 3 SEC teams (GA, Tenn, and A&M) that could jump over Iowa

I don't expect Iowa to catapult into the top 10, playing a FCS school (even the NC) doesn't gain a lot of voters regardless of the outcome of the game (unless we lose of course).

This is a true lose -lose game for iowa. Ndsu will give 110% and if iowa wins it likely wont be a blowout, if we lose it's basically season over imo.

With Florida State losing today it just opens up an extra space in the playoffs if the Hawks can keep their winning streak going today.

They're not going to be ranked next week. They shouldn't be ranked even if they go undefeated for the rest of the regular season.
