That would be somebody's fault other than coaches. Coaches are just there to call plays.https://allhawkeyes.com/pages/story/details/2323

We'll know very early in the game if they are motivated.
I hope they are.

Iron behind ‘Outlaw’ Josey Jewell’s words in one last Iowa motivational message
It is pretty obvious. They get up for the big games, and don't for the others. It's called "playing to the level of your opponent" and Kirk is a master at this!
This has been the case since the rebuilding was over in 2005. Not sure if KF's low key ways carry over to the team or what or if KF is a different type of guy/coach when the hawks are underdogs.
But it is amazing the number of big upsets the hawks pull off and big seasons they have when not even given a chance to be just above avg.
But this can also explain why KF has lost so many times as a big favorite, a favorite, or not covered the spread as a favorite. You sometimes wonder if you are getting your monies worth for the ticket and drive to the game or I should say many times you are not getting your monies worth.
Have some players lost confidence in cap.Like hitting your head against.wall no ?here's the best part......But if the lowly Cornhuskers win, Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz will have some explaining to do because you can’t just dismiss what Bazata said.
you know the answer.......just need to clean up a few things
brilliant, NC. really brilliant!
Thanks, why is it more brilliant than all of my other ((brilliant) posts?
