Now I know that North Carolina is an absolute blue blood of college basketball, but pending major improvement this year, they will miss the NCAA tournament for the 2nd straight year. Not saying that will factor in Marcus' decision, but it is evidence that every program goes through struggles eventually.

UNC will have at least 10 wins heading into ACC play, with that league being down as a whole this year, look for them to double their win total and make the NCAA easily. It isn't like they lost slouches in: Minnesota, Vanderbilt and Illinois, as all three will be in the NCAA tournament as well.

You may be right, I just have not been impressed by them. They struggled to beat the same Long Beach St. team that Iowa hung with and that was in the Dean Dome. I still think they are a fringe tournament team this year. They have no on court leadership at all.
