I see he committed to UNI today. Does anyone know how good this kid is? Were we after him? I know we gave out a TON of scholarships this year...was he better than anyone we offered? Did UNI just throw the kid a bone since they already have his older brother?
 
Wyatt showed up and single handedly put UNI in the top ten last year, scary to think how good they can be with two Lohauses on the team.
 
Too bad Fairfax is no longer around to school us on how Iowa blew such a golden opportunity.
 
Lohaus might not be the most sought after basketball player in division one history, but he is good enough to get a college basketball scholarship from UNI. Except when he plays Iowa, I wish him the best of luck. There are lots and lots of basketball players that wish they were in his position.

I agree, David Dileo should be getting his preferred walk on offer any day now.

Agree that few wish the Lohaus's ill will. It's just someone like the OP that sounds the 5-alarm bell every time UNI signs someone from the state of Iowa. Big whoop.

OP take a look at the big time players and teams in the B1G this next year and the incoming recruits to this league. We have bigger things to be concerned about. UNI's roster would get smashed against this kind of competition on a nightly basis.

He was probably the 4th best player on his H.S. team.

Do they project he'll grow 5-7 inches, to get to his Dad's height?

I wish Tanner Lohaus the best but like his brother Wyatt he's just not a BIG player. There's nothing wrong with that. He may be great at UNI but playing a UNI schedule verses Iowa's schedule is completely different. Good luck to him.
