Time will tell but you bring up good points about name Florida schools. We seem to be recruiting better down there as of late and it doesn't hurt to have former players like Marcus Paschal coaching Florida high school teams. Time will also tell if Frost took a Florida connection back to Nebraska with him. Some on these boards are already concerned that Frost is winning recruiting battles against us in our own state and with our own legacies.

Neither Nebby or Minnesota have anything to offer that we don't that is correct. The trick is convincing seventeen and eighteen years old not to fall for the sizzle when they can have the steak.

These are all good points. And true as well. I wonder how many players over the years who strongly considered us and went elsewhere had second thoughts about their decision. They wanted to be sexy, which our head coach has publicly said we're not, and found out that substance can be more important than style.

I would think if Iowa beats who all we are supposed to and knocks off Wisky we'd be in BIG title contention anyway. Say we put up a good fight against PSU on the road and that's our only loss and we go play OSU in title game... Could a 1 loss Iowa (having beaten OSU in Indy) get in playoffs with that on our resume? I dunno the talking heads at ESPN would probably say no... But depends how those games all went I suppose too but I'd like to find out.
